Using Configuration Settings

Configuration settings are small pieces of information that can be referenced elsewhere in your code. They are essentially the same as snippets but are typically use for individual strings, such as account numbers.

To view all configuration settings, go to the Settings > Global Settings control panel. Click the Group, Name, Value or Description of any item in the list to edit it.

To create a new configuration setting, click the Add Configuration Setting button at the top of the Settings > Global Settings control panel.

To use the value of a configuration setting, insert the following code in a template, snippet, CSS file, JavaScript file, or pod contents:

<w:data name='name_of_setting' />

Where ‘name_of_setting’ is the name of the setting whose value you want to access.
